Behaviors & patterns
Understand recurring activities, routines, and how they change over time.
Recurring activities#
{ "concept": "running", "frequency": "2-3x/week", "trend": "increasing", "confidence": 0.88, "supporting_moments": 31 }
Frequency summarizes recurrence in the available history. Supporting moments count distinct events, not individual photos. A camera roll is a partial view of someone’s life, so these estimates do not measure every real-world activity.
Routines and temporal patterns#
{ "concept": "weekends_are_more_social", "confidence": 0.86, "supporting_moments": 54 }
Patterns describe relationships across moments: weekday versus weekend behavior, seasonal activities, or routines that recur across months.
Trends and recent changes#
Trends describe increasing, steady, or decreasing activity in recent history. Profile incorporates new evidence incrementally, allowing a product to respond to new interests without treating every recent photo as a lasting change.
Use query() for a specific temporal question, such as how the user’s outdoor activities have changed recently. Read confidence and coverage alongside the answer.
